On The Way To Summer
Now that we're past December solstice in America, everyone can be happy that our slow journey back to longer daylight and warmer weather has begun.
Wisconsin has so far enjoyed a mild winter--no temperature below 0 and only one dusting of snow. When our son, Troy, was born in November 1983, the cold and snow were so severe we couldn't take him to see my mother in Janesville, 75 miles away until late January when it warmed some.
Last winter had an abundance of snow, too. Maybe it will miss us this year.
